Congratulations State Robotics Winners!

Two of the PSA High School Robotics teams competed in the South Carolina State Vex Robotics Championship this past weekend in Greenville, and returned home with the two top prizes.  Team Wild Cards, Elliot McAninch, Aidan Frye, Kadan Parker and Duaa Jamaluddin, completed the only perfect 6-0 qualifying run followed by a nail biting best-of-three final match to emerge as Tournament Champions!  Just for good measure they topped it off with the Amaze Award for the most consistently, well performing robot.

Determined not to be left out of the fun, Team ¯\_(:/)_/¯, Jack Kinsella, Derek Mullins, Brodie Muzzy, Dylan Quinn and Ian Smith, won the Excellence Award given to the top team in multiple categories including Design Award/Engineering notebook, Skills Challenge and qualification ranking.  This makes back-to-back years winning the Excellence Award at the State Championship.

Both teams qualify for the Vex Robotics World Championship which runs from May 16th – 22nd.  Congratulations to all PSA Robotics teams for a fantastic season and good luck to teams Wild Cards and ¯\_(:/)_/¯at the World Championship!
