PSA receives recognition for supporting Military Children

5.2.2025 Friday Letter to Families

Good afternoon, PSA families!

May has arrived and the finish line is in sight! We had an eventful week at school this week that included our “Purple Star Designation” Ceremony. This ceremony included several of Joint Base Charleston’s top leaders, as well as several top leaders from the SC Public Charter School District. We are grateful for this recognition and the opportunities PSA has gone above and beyond in supporting our military children and families.
Our Phoenix Soccer team wrapped up the week with another region win, finishing the season with a 13-5, 9-2 record in region play and ranked in the TOP 5 in the State in our classification! Our team received a 1st round bye and will host in the 2nd round on May 8 at 6:00pmWe are looking forward to next week, where two of our PSA VEX Robotics teams head to Texas for their WORLD Competition! Good luck, “EXPLODING KITTENS,” and, “THE RAVIOLIS!”
Last, shoutout goes to our Teacher and Students of the Month of April:
  • High School Students: Courtney Condon  & Chase Powell
  • High School Teacher: Ms. Johnson
  • Middle School Students: Alex Forsythe & Robert Waltz
  • Middle School Teacher: Mr. Schrimsher
