 April 4, 2025

Good afternoon, PSA families! We hope everyone had a great week! Here is what we have coming up at PSA in the next week!
Website Updates -
  • Do you have a shoutout and/or positive feedback you would like to give a staffulty member or about PSA? Head over to our home page to submit an “Attitude of Gratitude” form to let us know who deserves a reminder that THEY MATTER!
Blood Drive Update -
  • Thank you to all who participated in our Blood Drive today.  Sixteen pints were taken!  Thank you to Mr. Allen for setting up and Ms. LaRue for helping out.  Finally, thank you to the NHS members who volunteered today.
Seat Time Updates -
  • This week students were made aware of seat time minutes/hours that are necessary to make up in order to receive credit for their course(s). If this applies to you, both parents and students received an email from Mrs. Skonieczny detailing the seat time hours needed to recoup. Please refer to your email for more information.
PSA Board of Directors’ Newsletter -
Community Service Opportunities -
  • We are excited to offer a PSA Campus Cleanup volunteer opportunity on Saturday, April 5 from 9 am to 3 pm. Parents and students can sign up for a minimum of a one hour block or as many as all six! Please use the following form to register for the time(s) you choose!

Counselors’ Corner -
  • All - Please continue to check the school counseling website for important updates and information.
  • Seniors - Email Ms. Widener ALL of your college acceptance letters, whether you plan to attend or not.  Also, email any scholarship award letters that you may have, whether from specific colleges or third party organizations.  Parents, please help remind your students :)
  • Graduation - Cap and gowns for graduation will be distributed at PSA on Monday, April 28 during both lunches.  Seniors should be sure to stop by to pick these items up.  Those who have not yet ordered graduation materials must do so IMMEDIATELY!  Failure to order your cap and gown in time will mean that you are NOT permitted to participate in our graduation ceremony.
Middle School Dance -
  • Aloha, PSA Middle School Parents! Get ready to set sail for an exciting evening at our upcoming middle school dance! The dance is Thursday, April 24th from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM in the gym. Our Dance theme is “Moana 2.” Admission ticket entry to the dance is free, but tickets are required for admission and to ensure an accurate headcount. Students can pick up their tickets from Ms. Seignious during Middle School lunch the week of the dance. This dance is exclusively for PSA Middle School students. Please be aware that students will need to leave the school premises at the regular dismissal time and return for the dance at 4:30 PM. Adult supervision will not be provided between dismissal and the dance start time unless students are enrolled in our after-school care program. Students who do not leave campus will be charged an aftercare fee. We're looking for parent volunteers to help provide refreshments! A Google Form will be created in the near future for parents to volunteer to bring items. We're looking forward to a wave of fun with our middle schoolers! Mahalo!
Registrar’s Desk
  • SENIORS: Please make sure you have an active Parchment account using an email that is not associated with PSA, as senior school emails will be deactivated two weeks after the last official day of school. It is important to note that seniors who have earned a Seal of Distinction can only retrieve it through Parchment, so it is essential for them to have a Parchment account. If you need assistance, please see Ms. Brown as soon as possible.
  • Transferring Students: We are sorry to see you go. If you have decided to withdraw your student at the end of the year, please make sure to complete the withdrawal form by the end of the school year. It is important for transferring students to specify their new school so we know who can request records and have permission to send them. If no school is listed or the withdrawal form is not completed, we will not be able to release records. Thank you for your cooperation.
  • Transferring Military Families: Please inform Ms. Brown via email at registration@psaschool.org if your family will be moving at any point before the first day of school, so we can assist you with the transfer process.
  • Returning Military Families: Please ensure that we have a copy of current military orders for your students' file as soon as possible.
  • All Returning Families:  Payment for the 2025-2026 school year is now overdue. The final deadline for all families to make their payment is April 9, 2025. If payment is not received by this date, your student's spot will be offered to a family on our waiting list. If you lose your student’s place for any reason, you will need to reapply and will be placed on the waiting list.
Athletics - Please review our PSA Athletics Newsletter for updates pertaining to PSA Athletics.

Nurse’s Updates - Please continue to be on the lookout for our nurse’s vaccination email and update as soon as possible  if necessary.

Prom Updates - (Updates added for 3.7.2025)
  • The PSA Junior/Senior Prom is on April 5th. We still need a few more items from our Amazon Wishlist. Any help making this night special is appreciated.
