4.11.2025 Friday Letter to Families

Congratulations to our March “Staffulty of the Month,” Ms. Miller!!! Special thanks to our business partner, Danny Ilagan for sponsoring our Staffulty of the Month Winners!

Drop Off Reminder -
  • Drop off up front is one way and it is a single line in the front and middle rows, not a double line.
  • Please do not pull around cars to exit once they've dropped their students off for students safety

Community Service Opportunities -
  • Thank you for the amazing job and help of the many students and parents who participated in our “Spring Cleaning Community Service” opportunity! We will update families on more opportunities to serve and volunteer as they come up.

National Teacher Appreciation Week - May 5-9
  • We absolutely love our teachers and hope you do too! National Teacher Appreciation Week is quickly approaching, May 5 - May 9. If you would like to send a kind word to show your appreciation for your student’s teacher or any staffulty,, please do so on our “Attitude of Gratitude” form to let us know who deserves a reminder that THEY MATTER during this week, or sooner!
  • If you are interested in donating towards our Teacher Appreciation Week, please fill out this form to let us know how you, your business, church, etc, would like to sponsor a breakfast, lunch, treats, gifts or something else our teachers would love during this week of celebrating!

Board Nomination Reminder -
  • The Palmetto Scholars Academy Board of Directors has elected and appointed positions to fill for terms that run through August 2027. The Nominating Committee is calling for nominees from the community to apply to serve on the Board of Directors.
  • The application period will open on Friday, March 28th, with an application deadline of April 4th, 2025. Middle School Dance -
  • Aloha, PSA Middle School Parents! Get ready to set sail for an exciting evening at our upcoming middle school dance! The dance is Thursday, April 24th from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM in the gym. Our Dance theme is “Moana 2.” Admission ticket entry to the dance is free, but tickets are required for admission and to ensure an accurate headcount. Students can pick up their tickets from Ms. Seignious during Middle School lunch the week of the dance. This dance is exclusively for PSA Middle School students. Please be aware that students will need to leave the school premises at the regular dismissal time and return for the dance at 4:30 PM. Adult supervision will not be provided between dismissal and the dance start time unless students are enrolled in our after-school care program. Students who do not leave campus will be charged an aftercare fee. We're looking for parent volunteers to help provide refreshments! A Google Form will be created in the near future for parents to volunteer to bring items. We're looking forward to a wave of fun with our middle schoolers! Mahalo!
