Fifth PSA VEX team qualifies for States
The plan was divide and conquer for the PSA VEX Robotics Teams on Saturday, February 3rd. In Beaufort, teams 9447A, 9447D, and 9447W all played extremely well as they competed in their last practice tournament before the State Championship at the end of the month. 9447D progressed to the quarterfinals, and 9447W and 9447A faced off in the finals, with 9447A becoming Tournament Champions.
Meanwhile, at the Dorchester VRC Tournament in Summerville, teams 9447P and 9447V, our two new middle school teams, had an AMAZING day showing so much growth! 9447P progressed to the quarterfinals and 9447V were Tournament Champions! In addition, 9447P earned the Create award, and 9447V won the Design award and were also Skills Champions!
9447V, composed of students Beckett Frye, Mohit Kanthety, Tanner Tibbetts, Abdoul Seck, and Jaydon Hall, are now the 5th PSA team to qualify for states!
