Forensics Class
Cardboard house is in flames as adult stands nearby and points and students watch.

Mrs. Devora Brown's Forensic Science class learned about how to investigate fires by building cardboard model houses and intentionally setting them on fire. Each team built their own house and created the story to go with it. After burning their house, the teams then investigated another team's project. Michael Clark, IAAI-FIT Assistant Fire Investigator from the City of North Charleston Fire Department, pointed out the different patterns and flows of both the flames and the smoke and helped the students with their investigations.
