Forensic Fire Project

PSA students in Mrs. Devora Brown’s Forensics classes built and burned two-story structures as part of their study of Arson in their Evidence Unit.
PSA students in Mrs. Devora Brown’s Forensics classes built and burned two-story structures as part of their study of Arson in their Evidence Unit.

In addition to creating a building and plan for the burn, each team had to investigate another team’s fire and report on their findings.

Chief Fire Investigator David B. Biser of the North Charleston Fire Investigative Unit was with them as they burned the structures, observed, and investigated the fires.
