Black History Month Door Contest

Winners announced for Black History Month Door Decorating Contest
To celebrate and honor Black History Month, advisory classes were invited to participate in a door decorating contest. 
Students reflected on themes of leadership, legacy, and history, and designed doors with famous figures such as Jackie Robinson, Dr. Martin Luther King, Maya Angelou, and more. Doors were judged on visual impact, craftsmanship, completeness, originality, and theme.
The winners are:
1st place goes to Mr. Harris in Kratos!  CONGRATULATIONS!!! (100 points!)
2nd place goes to Ms. Taylor in Poseidon (45 points)
and there was a tie for 3rd place between Ms. Miller (Heracles) and Dr. Harper (Poseidon) so each will receive 15 points.
