New Traffic Pattern Starts 8/19/24- In my heart I love efficiency and the way traffic is working doesn’t seem optimal. So with that in mind we will test drive a new traffic pattern that PSA hasn’t done before, beginning this Monday, 8/19/24. Beginning Monday, families who intend to travel SOUTH, right on Dorchester (toward the Air base) will pick up and drop off in the front and utilize the second exit on the corner of the parking lot to exit. Families traveling EAST (straight to Cross County Rd.) or NORTH, left on Dorchester (toward Summerville) will pick up and drop off will be in the back loop. To keep kids safe in the front parking lot, a crosswalk is being installed this weekend at the front entrance to the school. The map outlining the new pattern is linked here and Mr. Reyes has created a video for Facebook to explain the plan. PSA hasn’t conceptualized traffic this way before. We are really hoping this will help! Thank you for bearing with us as we learn and for helping us to troubleshoot ways to make PSA traffic easier!

The PSA staff is working on several new initiatives to improve communication and processes for our students. One of those is our Student Dashboard - a one stop communication link for all sorts of information that PSA students need. We will continually update as new information becomes available.

Take a look and thank you in advance for your feedback on this new resource!

Important Reminder

Tomorrow is the first day of our important middle school testing events. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to capture a snapshot of all they have learned!

There are a few things you can do to make sure tomorrow is an optimal experience for your child.

  • Send them with their fully charged Chromebook and charger.
  • Make sure they get a good night's rest.
  • Ensure they eat a healthy breakfast.
  • Arrive at school on time.

Middle school testing will occur on May 14, 15, 20, 21, and 24. We appreciate your partnership in making each of these events rewarding experiences for your child!

Thank you!
