Meet the Coach

Head Varsity Volleyball:  Katie Lapierre

"Hello! I am Katie LaPierre and I am the Varsity Volleyball coach. I'm from North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and moved to Charleston for college a few years ago. I have been playing volleyball since I was 9 years old and have never stopped. I played volleyball year round for 6 years both at the high school level and national club level. This is my third year coaching at PSA and I also coach club volleyball at Charleston Crush down the road. I am excited to have this group of girls on my team and am looking forward to this season!" 

Head JV Volleyball:  Brittany Altice

I am a Charleston native who’s played volleyball since 2009. I started my volleyball career at Timberland High School and I continue to play in adult leagues throughout the Lowcountry. I work in Logistics in the Summerville area, but my true passion has been coaching volleyball at the YMCA Ponds, GooseCreek Recreation and most recently Summerville Baptist Upward League. This is my 2nd season coaching at PSA. My goals as a coach are to 1) develop each player’s skills, 2) create a strong team connection, 3) get them ready for varsity.
