Assistant Principal, Middle School

Corrigan Rutherford – corrigan.rutherford@psaschool.org

Corrigan’s passion for working with children/adolescents who learn differently was awakened immediately following her undergraduate studies.  What was originally planned to be a brief summer job in a high management group home led to a complete change in her career path.  She completed her graduate degree in special education with an emphasis in behavioral/emotional disorders.  Not long after, she started working in public schools.  In an effort to impact the educational outcomes of more students, Corrigan returned to graduate school to complete a degree in educational leadership and administration.  She remains active in the community through volunteer work and advocacy for those with disabilities.  On the weekends, Corrigan is often at the pool watching her daughters swim or at the baseball fields with her son.  Travel and camping remain two of her favorite pastimes.
